Note to engineer:Flat parts normally pose special finishing problems. The presence of lubricants or water can encourage parts sticking together, leaving some parts with only one surface cleaned. Depending on part thickness and hardness, flat parts are subject to warping when tumbled or vibrafinished, or subject to shot/vapor blasting. On most components, we individually rack parts, both ensuring all surfaces are cleaned while avoiding damage.
